The Bpi enables you to discover, learn or revise more than 220 languages and dialects, from the most widely used (English, Spanish, etc.) to the more rare (Belep, Sami, Navajo or Zulu, for example).

In the Self-Learning area, you will find ways of learning languages that use audio cassettes, CDs or DVDs, and you can access e-learning platforms. You can also view teaching materials and foreign films in their original version, or consult books and dictionaries.

In order to locate easily the documents you want, you can search the self-learning catalogue by language, but also by level, by topic (business, hotel work or medicine, for example) or by the format that you prefer.

You have just arrived in France and don't speak French yet,

you are preparing your next holiday in Brazil or Iceland,

you must revise your English or Mandarin before your next work mission,

you are moving to live in Poland or Tahiti,

or you are simply curious to discover a new language...

The Bpi can help you.

And don't forget televisions of the world, which makes available 16 generalist television channels (in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish), or our collection of films in their original version.

Lastly, if you want to develop your knowledge by taking a language course in Paris or its suburbs, our Langues-Info Directory will help you to find what you want among the range of language courses available.
