Listening
The Bpi makes available numerous sound resources, or resources that are connected to the universe of sound. Some of these can only be used in the Library; others can be accessed from outside, via this website.
- On-line, a selection of websites and recordings:
- Recent recordings of lectures or debates organised by the Bpi.
- Music websites (like the contemporary music portal); the sites of artists and festivals... - On the spot, in the Library's Music and Spoken Documents area:
- CDs, music videos, music scores and books on music topics.
- Spoken documents (lectures and debates, radio programmes, historic recordings, interviews, readings of texts...).
- Selected music websites, using the Bpi's multimedia work-stations.
- Two pianos for you to practise on and a composition software (MusicLab).
