Looking for a Job
On Level 1 of the Library, near the entrance, you will find a collection of reference materials providing guidance about studies and careers, jobs and training.
Aimed at:
- Young people: giving them information about schools and universities, careers, competitions, job-seeking, and training courses.
- Adults: providing advice about a curriculum vitae or a letter of motivation, how to present themselves at a job interview, how to learn more about the job market, to find data about companies, to prepare their reconversion, and to find information about training opportunities or on how to start their own business, etc.
Collections:
- On the spot: you will find practical guides, newspapers and magazines with job adverts, yearbooks and directories, databases and a large selection of Internet sites.
- On-line services: the "Recherche d'emploi, métiers, formation" (Job-seeking, Careers, Training) section of the Bpi catalogue lists a selection of Internet sites that provide very useful information and can help in your search.
