General Press: newspapers and news magazines
In the Press Area, you can find daily newspapers and magazines covering current events. On specially designed stands or on the multimedia work-stations, the Bpi makes available numerous French and foreign titles.
There is a collection of French and foreign newspapers. All the French national and 65 regional daily newspapers (at least one per region) are available before 12:00 on the day they are published. Foreign dailies are also provided, with each continent represented. Depending on the title, all these dailies are kept for 1 to 3 months.
You can also find many news magazines: all the French weekly and monthly magazines, and a selection of foreign ones. These are kept for periods of 3 months to 2 years.
On the multimedia work-stations of the Press Area, you can also access newspapers and magazines on-line, both French and foreign: Le Monde, Le Figaro, Libération, le Nouvel Observateur, Der Spiegel, The New York Times… Some current affairs websites can also be consulted: Rue89, Cafebabel.com, AgoraVox...
