Discover the Bpi
A public library has many elements...

As a public reading library, the Bpi is at the disposal of anyone who is looking for information or training, whether as a student (at school or university) or for personal or professional reasons. The Library does not loan out any of its materials, and does not have either a specific area or collections for children.
Arrangements have been made to facilitate the access of disabled persons, and specially adapted services are available for users with a visual impairment.
Since its earliest days, the Bpi has always been very popular (more than 5,000 visits a day). It is open 62 hours a week (with Tuesdays being the only day that it is closed), thus offering possibilities to avoid the times when it is crowded. The table of the best times to come will help you to benefit from its services, without having to wait in a queue.
10,400 m² of reading-rooms
2,200 places to sit and study
400 work-stations (to use computers, audiovisual materials, microfilms)

1.4 million visits a year (almost 5,000 a day)
