French literature in translation is a collection of more than 300 works translated into foreign languages. A way to take a new look at French literature, or for those who do not master the French language, a way to discover its classics.
French is not your native language? You like to read some works of your own literature when you find them in the Library and sometimes you want to try and read some French literature even if it is difficult for you? So you should know that various treasures of French literature translated into several languages are at your disposal on Level 3 of the Library, in Sector 8, near the information counter?
Stored on the shelves under the "Littérature française traduite" sign, you will find « al-Baḥt̲ ʿan al-zaman al-mafqūd » or « Auf der Suche nach der verlorenen Zeit » (Remembrance of Things Past), « Mongtian suibi quanji » or « Ensayos » (Montaigne's Essays), or « La confessione di un figlio del secolo » (The Confession of a Child of the Century) or « Opasnye svâzy » (Dangerous Liaisons) or « As flores do mal » (Flowers of Evil) or « The Charterhouse of Parma » (La chartreuse de Parme), etc.
