What do Amos Oz, Da Cruz, Jean-Louis Comolli, and Riad Sattouf, have in common? They all, in their own ways, write about, film and draw today's world, but however different they may be, you can meet them at the Bpi.

The "Cinéma du Réel" festival, the slam jousts, the encounters with cartoonists or the theatre in the dark are other examples of events organised by the Library.
The development of all forms of cultural activity is one of the missions of the Bpi. To fulfil this mission as best it can, the Library organises spoken events, film shows, workshops and exhibitions.
The Cultural Action Charter presents the mains areas of the Library's cultural activity and the principles underlying them.
