This Collection brings together the reports of seminars and encounters organised by the Bpi about social issues, about books that French publishers produce, or about key figures of our times. It also includes the reports of study days for library workers organised or co-organised by the Bpi.

Reproducing gender? This firstly relates to the kind of reproduction, notably "denatured" reproduction, but also to how the family order and those of kinship and parenthood go further than simply reflecting a gender order and also participate in its reproduction by calling into play sexualised roles.
After "Genres & Sexualités" (published in 2009), this volume with contributions from anthropologists, historians, lawyers, philosophers and sociologists is the last of the reports of three seminars organised on the initiative of the Bpi in the framework of the series about feminism.

La littérature contemporaine et le sacré

Des écrivains se sont rencontrés une journée à la Bpi en 2008 pour débattre des rapports de la littérature avec le sacré aujourd'hui.
Encre et exil
Chaque année, des écrivains du monde entier viennent témoigner début décembre, dans la Petite Salle du Centre Pompidou, du rapport de leur écriture à l'exil. D'une grande richesse humaine et artistique, ces rencontres font l'objet d'une publication annuelle.
