Before the Library opens to the public, and on a pre-arranged date, we can arrange for a group to have a guided tour of the Library.  We organise these group visits for defined categories of people.

For whom are these visits organised?

  • For adults undergoing vocational training
  • For members of welfare centres and associations
  • For students
  • For librarians and professionals in the field of documentation
  • For pupils in the last year of general or technical secondary school or attending a vocational school (accompanied by a teacher).

What kind of visit is proposed?

  • The general functioning of the Library:
    - its specialised areas
    - its collections
    - its services
    - its search tools: classification system, documentation portal
  • A specific theme: the "Self-Learning" area, the Press area...
In this case, a professional working in the area will receive the group. The presentation of the specific area can be made without any advance visit to the Library.

These visits are free of charge.

When ?

On weekdays (except Tuesdays), on a pre-arranged date.

The visits begin at 10:00 and last 2 hours.
