Practical Information
The staff at the information counters are at your disposal to answer your questions, to help you find the documents that you need, or to supply you with some kinds of materials such as microfilms.
There are information counters on each floor, close to the topic areas. Each is specialised in a topic.
At the information counter in the entrance-hall of the Library, in addition to questions about the Collections on Level 1, the staff distribute Internet tickets and deal with more general enquiries about the Library.
On the spot, you can find tools on the http://www.bpi.fr/ site which will help you find your way around.
Using the interactive plan or the virtual visit, you can locate the topic collections, the different services provided by specific areas, and even access detailed descriptions.
You can also follow our guided tours. At present, three videos are available to show you the Library according to your area of interest: how to search for a document, general visit to the Library, discover the specialised areas.
