International Co-operation
The Bpi co-operates with foreign establishments in order to promote its know-how in the field of library science and to develop an international network for exchanges and dialogue.
The agreements between the Bpi and foreign establishments make it possible to receive and exchange library workers between establishments, to organise international study days and visits of experts. The Bpi also participates in the annual IFLA congress and in the work of its different sections.

Receiving foreign trainees
The Bpi regularly receives foreign trainees, either through different programmes ("Profession Culture" or "Courants du Monde"), or by individual request.
