Profession: Librarian
The Co-operation and International Relations Department organises study visits on specific topics in France and abroad. These visits make it possible to discover establishments that innovate in terms of the services that they provide and to exchange ideas and professional experience.
Germany 2009: on 12-16 October, 14 librarians from the Bpi and other libraries in France have been hosted by our German colleagues for a visit on the theme: "The library as a place of social cohesion".
Finland 2008: on 13-17 October, 9 librarians have participated in a visit on the theme: "Architecture and innovative public services in Finnish libraries".
Netherlands 2007: on 5-9 November, the Bpi organised a visit on the theme: "Innovative services in Dutch public libraries".
Catalonia 2006: on 11-17 November, the Bpi organised a visit on the theme: "Architecture and public services".
