Bpi.fr, Balises, Bpi for professionals, Cinéma du Réel and Effractions are the five sites at your disposal.
The Bpi has chosen to offer Internet users a number of complementary sites related to its activities. Informative or collaborative, they are aimed at everyone, even if their approaches are different.
Bpi.fr

The institutional site presents the missions, the organization of the library, but also all the practical information to prepare its visit and discover the collections and the services offered, as well as an agenda of the meetings, debates, colloquia, exhibitions, festivals but also screenings, visits, workshops… It is also the site that provides direct access to the library catalog and all the resources it offers when they are accessible remotely.
Balises

The webmagazine Balises is based on the programming of the library and the Center Pompidou and offers articles, videos, infographics to better understand the cultural and social issues addressed there. The editors add a selection of documentary resources based on their expertise as librarians in finding information and selecting sources.
Offering dynamic navigation by rebounds on the themes and formats of the publications, Balises is open to the contribution of Internet users who are invited to comment on the articles and, of course, to share those they appreciate.
Professionnels

The professional site, more particularly dedicated to professionals in the information professions, lists the actions and services developed by the Bpi, national library for public reading, or by other partner libraries. In addition to publications related to feedback or sociological studies carried out by the Studies and Research department, it is a resource site that also provides access to the national catalog of films, to the Carel association site , to the Library in the city site, to information from the BiblioSésame network, to information on disabilities from Alphabib, etc.
Cinéma du réel

The Cinéma du Réel website offers both a forecast of the next festival and a retrospective of all the editions that have been held for 36 years now. It allows you to follow the news of documentary cinema, in particular through the programming of the festival outside the walls or at the Center Pompidou or those of partner festivals.
Effractions

Effractions, the contemporary literature festival of the Bpi which highlights the authors who make literary news and whose works give food for thought on the link between literature and reality. The festival takes place every year in February/March. Find on this dedicated site the complete program, the guests, as well as the latest information on the festival.
Les yeux doc

The public documentary film platform Les yeux doc, supported by the Bibliothèque publique d’information, offers French libraries and their users a national catalog of over 450 documentary films, regularly updated and editorialized. The collection focuses on auteur and creative documentary films, from major festivals and theatrical releases, most often selected by the Images en bibliothèques selection committee.
Tympan

Tympan: all the music is inside!
Launched in 2019, Tympan is the online platform that allows you to listen to all the music and spoken documents from the Music collection of the Bpi, accessible on all computers in the library. Thousands of songs and sound documents at your fingertips!
Eurêkoi

Eurekoi is a free online question-and-answer service open to all, answering your queries in less than 72 hours.
Led by the Bpi, the Eurekoi network comprises 48 libraries in France and Belgium. It strives to find the best person to answer your questions, depending on the specialization of the partner libraries.
