- March 2, 2025 → closure of the Bpi at the Centre Pompidou (4th)
- August 25, 2025 → reopening of the Bpi at Lumière, 40 avenue des Terroirs de France (12th)
- 2030 → reopening of the Bpi at the Centre Pompidou

The Bpi is moving!
While the Centre Pompidou is closed, the Bibliothèque publique d’information will be temporarily relocated to the Lumière building in Paris’s 12th district at 40 avenue des Terroirs de France.
From January 2025, the Bpi will be moving ‘outside the walls’!
During its move, and for the duration of its relocation, the Bpi will be deploying part of its activities outside the walls of the Centre Pompidou. Find out more about our new partner venues and the events they will be hosting from January 2025.
