The Acceo interface

Deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals can contact the Bpi by telephone via the Acceo interface. Three modes of communication are available to the public: video interpretation in French Sign Language (LSF), video coding in French Cued Speech (LFPC), and instant speech transcription (real-time captioning).

Request assistance

Do you have mobility or orientation difficulties? You can ask a librarian to accompany you from the entrance of the building. Contact us by phone during library opening hours at +33 (0)1 44 78 12 71.

If you would like assistance from the metro, tram, or bus stop, you must make an appointment with a librarian from the Reading and Disability Service 24 hours in advance for weekdays and 48 hours in advance for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Contact us at lecture-handicap@bpi.fr or by phone at +33 (0)1 44 78 44 97 or +33 (0)1 44 78 41 85, or via Acceo (for deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals).
