Permanent positions
The Bpi regularly offers civil servants positions and also recruits contract workers for permanent positions.
All job offer are in French only.
Civil servants
To join the Bpi, civil servants must submit a request for a transfer or secondment for those who are not managed by the Ministry of Culture.
The different sectors represented at the Bpi are the following:
- Library sector (curators, librarians, specialised assistant, storekeepers);
- Administrative sector (civil service administrators, officers, administrative secretaries, administrative assistants);
- Scientific sector (documentary research officer, documentary clerk);
- Technology and art professions sector (cultural services engineers, cultural services technicians, technology assistances for surveillance and reception).
The Bibliothèque publique d’information publishes vacant jobs or likely to be on its website but also on the website dedicated to civil service mobility: www.pep.gouv.fr
As they are related to the Library profession, the jobs offered for movement are published on the POPPEE website (managed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research).
