Public contract
The Bibliothèque publique d’information’s main purchasing objective is to ensure that readers benefit from an up-to-date and varied range of books (monographs, periodicals, CDs, etc.), as well as the quality of their supports (bindings, locks, etc.).
The library’s second main area of public procurement, in the IT sector, is motivated by its concern for modern communication, both in terms of the diversity of its digital documentary resources and the technological means of accessing information.
The Bpi also concludes public contracts to carry out its cultural action policy.
